銀色の金属光沢が魅力のブルッカイトインクォーツは、通称その容姿から『プラチナルチル』とも呼ばれています。ブルッカイト自体はルチルと同じ成分の鉱物で同質違像の関係。太く板状になっている部分がブルッカイト、そこから平行に、束のようになって派生している細い針状の結晶がルチルで、キャッツアイ効果が見られるのが特徴です。

Brookite-in-quartz, with its alluring silvery metallic luster, is often referred to as "Platinum Rutile" due to its appearance. Brookite is a polymorph of rutile, meaning they share the same chemical composition but differ in crystal structure. The thicker, plate-like formations are brookite, while the fine, needle-like crystals branching out parallelly from them are rutile. A distinctive feature of this stone is its ability to exhibit a cat’s eye effect.
