バンカチャコレクションの中でとくに希少な個体です。石の内部をよく見ると、2つの独立したコランダム結晶が成長の過程で合体・融合していることがわかります。それぞれの結晶は異なる結晶軸の方向を持っているため、内部のルチルシルク（針状内包物）の走向も互いにずれており、光の当たり方によって一方はゴールデン〜ブロンズ、もう一方はブルーグリーンという、2つの異なる光の表情が1石の中に共存しています。
宝石学的には「サファイアの中にサファイアが取り込まれながら成長した」という、きわめて稀な現象であり、自然界でしか生まれ得ない唯一無二の美しさです。スター効果も備えており、見どころの多い逸品です。

《 Bang Kacha Black Star Sapphire 》
This is one of the rarest pieces in the Bang Kacha Collection.
Upon close inspection of the interior, you can see that two independent corundum crystals merged and fused together during their growth process.

Because each crystal possesses a different crystallographic orientation, the rutile silk inclusions inside the stone also run in different directions. As light moves across the surface, one side reveals golden to bronze reflections, while the other displays blue-green hues — allowing two distinct optical expressions to coexist within a single gemstone.

From a gemological perspective, this is an extremely rare phenomenon in which “a sapphire grew while incorporating another sapphire within itself.” It is a singular beauty that could only be created by nature.

The stone also exhibits asterism (star effect), making it an exceptional piece filled with remarkable points of interest.
