タイのサファイア産地の一つであるバンカチャ、通称この産地のものは『バンカチャサファイア』と呼ばれています。

Bang Kacha is one of Thailand’s historic sapphire-producing regions, and stones from this area are commonly known as “Bang Kacha Sapphires.”

Among SELSHA’s Bang Kacha Sapphire collection, this piece stands out as an especially unique star sapphire. Its striking appearance evokes the image of a tiger, while the star effect (asterism) appears beautifully across the surface.

Unlike ordinary sapphires, this stone reveals clearly intersecting rutile crystals that create extraordinary natural patterns within the gem — a truly one-of-a-kind and exceptionally rare piece.
