ギリシャ語で「パイ」は、「火」を意味し、昔は火打ち石として使用されていた歴史があります。パイライトは硫化鉱物のため、原石の状態で保存するとサビやすいのですが、水晶の中に閉じ込められているのでずっと綺麗な結晶を楽しめることができます。

The word “py” comes from Greek and means “fire,” reflecting its historical use as a fire-starting stone. As pyrite is a sulfide mineral, it is prone to oxidation and can rust when kept in its raw form. However, when it is enclosed within quartz, the crystal remains beautifully preserved, allowing its brilliance to be enjoyed for years to come.
