『レッドルチルクォーツ』は、一般的に知られるゴールドのルチルとは違い、鉄を微量含まれることによって酸素と反応し、赤い色に見えるルチルクォーツです。チタン鉱物特有の金属光沢があり、透明度の高いクォーツの中で反射して輝く姿はとても魅力的です。金色や褐色よりもはるかに産出量が少ないため、数がご用意できない天然石でもあります。

Red rutilated quartz differs from the commonly known golden rutile quartz. Its red color comes from trace amounts of iron reacting with oxygen. With the metallic luster characteristic of titanium minerals, the rutile needles reflect light beautifully within the highly transparent quartz. Because it is produced in far smaller quantities than the golden or brown varieties, it is a natural stone that is often difficult to source in large numbers.
